Experience Level

Classes are tailored for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, based on attendees and their experience.

Age Groups

All classes are split into two age categories: Adults and Juniors (5 - 14 years old).

The classes are mixed (male and female), apart from the Women’s only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on Saturdays. Attendees have the choice whether they choose to train with male or female members.

Class Booking

New attendees will need to complete a registration form before participating in any of the classes.

Currently there is no requirement to book a class(es) in advance. Please just attend at the day and time scheduled on the timetable.

Class Fees

New attendees can join in any of the classes free of charge for 7 days.

Class attendees can choose to pay per class, or become a member and opt to pay a fixed monthly fee.

Class Safety

All class attendees will be monitored by the class instructor(s) to ensure techniques and sparring are conducted in a controlled, safe manner, with an emphasis on reinforcing what attendees should do to indicate when a hold or pin has been applied.

Any health-related issues that the staff need to be aware of, must be declared on the registration form.

If at any point, a class attendee feels unwell or feels they have an injury, they must instantly notify the class instructor(s) and remove themselves from the class.

Any banned/illegal/or dangerous behaviour used by a class attendee against an opponent will result in the attendee using the technique being removed from the class.

Any class attendee that ignores the instructions of the class instructor(s) will be told to leave the class.

Class Hygiene

Due to the nature of mixed martial arts, class attendees are politely asked to maintain an acceptable standard of personal hygiene. This includes regular washing to prevent body odour, kit airing/washing, trimmed nails, hair tied back, clean feet (if barefeet on the mat), etc.

Equipment

Class attendees can request to loan equipment e.g., boxing gloves, shinguards, kurtka, gi, headguard etc from a member of club staff.
